as his heart detoriates, then his bopdy uses more calories. he also loses hisn appatite. last time they gave him drugs/hormones which they give to women with breast/ovarian cancer as it increases appatite. going to see how he is tonmorrow. he had been maintaing his weight so well.

Will they give the appetite increasing hormones again?
He's been on hospital food for such a long time now. Not that it's too bad IM-limited-E.

Oh poor peter. Let me know if you ever want a tub, it's called Usana nutrimeal, it's very high quality- I have chocolate and vanilla. I can send you a tub anytime (or just a sample if you don't want to be lumbered with a whole tub). Just email me.

will do.

dont want hi mto get into the situation with his weight where he wont have enough fat/muscle on his body to survive the transplant op/ after his last surgery, he weight just a little less (about half a stone tbh) than now, and they were very worried about the effects on his body and if he'd survive. he needs to be as fit as possible for transplant, and atm he isnt. he is fading away.

Do they do things like put butter (not marg) on his toast, full fat milk, think fat, fat, fat, any opportunity for it (providing he can keep it down). I assume there aren't any cholesterol worries at the moment. Does he like things like peppers drizzled in olive oil (all the mediterranean food?). It's all quite light, but covered in olive oil so with lots of energy.
