Well, it's been a cracker of a Christmas in the pony household. Dd started throwing up at midday on Christmas Day, shortly followed by ds2. They kept it up all afternoon. Me, Dh and ds1 (and my poor visiting mum!) started on Boxing Day evening/night. We've had a hideous night, but no-one has been sick since this morning. Me, dh and ds1 were in bed most of the day and I feel pretty much OK, and dh and ds1 are improving rapidly. Dd and ds2 are right as rain.
The question: MIL and BIL and his family (three young children) were meant to be visiting today. We put them off this morning and said we'd give an update tomorrow. Will they be safe to visit assuming we all continue on the up? I'd hate for their children to go through the d&v that we've been through the last couple of days, particularly away from their own home. On the other hand I feel that our Christmas has been pretty well sabotaged by this so far and would like to reclaim as much as possible. We can't put them off too much as BIL has to get back to work on the 2nd and it's a 200 mile trip for them, so probably not really worth it for them to do just for a couple of days. What do you think? Will they be safe if they come tomorrow???

Well that sounds pretty good! Last vomit was 10.30 this morning, and that was a result of ds1 drinking too much water too quickly even though we'd told him not to! Thank you!
