What can I take for PMT while breastfeeding?

Before my ds was born I had never really had bad PMT and the time between dd and ds I was taking the mini pill but now I have a coil (no hormones) and this week I have been a nightmare. Short tempered, annoyed by everything, feeling really dowdy and huge waves of apathy about housework, paperwork and xmas. HELP! What can I take to make it a bit better, the added complication is I am still breastfeeding. Anyone?

A good multi-vitamin, evening primrose or starflower oil and calcium supps.

Do you think that's OK with breastfeeding?

Yes, even beneficial. Good for your baby too.

I went into boots today to look at evening primrose and starflower oil and all the packets said that if you were breastfeeding you shouldn't take any. Asked the pharmacist and she said I should ask my GP.
