ebbie22 - glad you're seeing an improvement with the antibiotics.

I had a mammogram on Thursday night. The doctor also did another ultrasound to determine if it would be necessary to withdraw fluid from the swelling to do a biopsy. He decided that it wasn't necessary - what a relief.

I had another appointment with the consultant this morning, and he is very pleased that the lump seems to have virtually disappeared. He wants to check me again mid January, but fingers crossed, it looks like all is OK.

Hope that you get the same result.

thanks for checking on me,glad you also seem on the mend...Am hoping that once i breast feed[if i can]then it will get 100 better...though speaking from past times,i had mastitus twice whislt feeding dd,but it did go away with antibotics, but then when dd was just over or under 2 years cant remember,i had a lump that didnt disapear, left it for months[not sure why],went to docs then to the breast clinci, had scan and said it was just fluid but they also syringed it there and then, and touch wood,no problems since....just hope this doesnt go the same way.......
Do let me know how you get on xxx
