I have had a sore eye for a few days, it felt a bit like conjunctivitis but my eye hasn't been red or dischargy, but has been a bit crusty (sorry!) in the morning.

I'm at work and it has been annoying me all day it feels like it just wants to close iykwim and is really stingy. I've just been to look in a mirror and along my eye lid is loads of little blisters.

Any ideas what this could be? will it go away on it's own or will I have to go to the Dr.

Thanks.

My Dr does an open surgery at 5 on a Monday night, you just go along and wait, so not really a problem to go!

Just wondered if there were any remedies out there I could try first!!

Shall flutter scabbily in boots on my way home

Thanks!

For conjunctivitis, my Dr recommended 1 teaspoon of Bicarb dissolved in 1 pint of cooled boiled water and then use it with an eye bath.

for conjunctivitis try salt in warm previously boiled water and keep wiping it in this
it may be a stye for that get a flannel and boiled water and soak water in flannel and place on eye until stye bursts

I get the blister things sometimes. Don't think I use anything for them except maybe Golden Eye.

are the blisters along the very edge of the eyelid (right next to the eyeball?) I get this a lot in the sSummer with my hayfever. Must admit I tend to burst them, but it takes a very steady hand!

Thanks for your replies.

Yeah the blisters are right along the eyelid next to the eye, and the whole of my eyelid, both above and below my eye is bright red and swollen, it looks a bit like a black eye now!! Very attractive!!

I am so accident prone I wouldn't even attempt to burst them

I will try the other suggestions though, thanks

I've just started another thread!!

I have herpes in my eyes

I've to go back to se the Dr on Friday if it doesn't clear up, but I have worried myself by googling it and seeing that it can cause blindness!!

Thanks for asking
