Right, I will tackle this if no-one else will!

Do you mean your discharge goes brown? How much do you have? Is it every day or only some days?

I generally get a similar mark the day before my period starts but that's it really.

If you are getting it daily for a week or more then I'd go and get checked out by the GP, it could be a sign of infection.

Is the discharge brown when it comes out? I find that yellow discharge can go brown by the end of the day. I sometimes get odd discharge but only for a day or so. I have been to the GP and had tests but nothing was ever found. If you are getting it frequently, I think you should brace yourself and go to the doctor. You have to think of the worst thing it could be and then you will be inspired to go and get it sorted out because no embarrassment is worse than seriously damaging your health.

I really wouldn't be embarrassed about seeing your gp because honestly, they really don't care about that.
You should definitly see your gp. Too many problems become worse because peopl are afraid to see a doctor about them. Contact the practice nurse and she what she says, I guess she'll put you onto the GP but she will reassure you.
