Help - need sympathy. Come quick!

I'm ill

I've got a terrible cough and I am hacking like a dirty old man - you know the cough/retch crossover cough!!

I cough until I get sick, then get a little break then start again. Can't go out cos soooo embarrasing to cough like this then retch in public! I sound like I'm a 100 fag a day person!!!

I go purple and my eyes bulge. I've coughed so much my throat is bleeding, which is making me cough more.

My ribs and stomach are so so sore from all the coughing!

I have probably taken a fatal overdose of a cocktail of painkillers, cough syrup and throat sweets!

Dh has gone down the pub - probably to get away from my constant sobs of 'it hurts so much I can't take any more' (this from a woman who's given birth to 2 babies over 10lb each!!!!!) and now I have nobody to moan to! So I thought of you!

yes thanks fqz! and lalaa - I've been - rest , drink fluids (how odd, gin doesn't count!!) and take cough medicine.

Oh and subtext of deal with it woman and stop moaning!
