have thought for a couple of weeks that one of my breasts seems a bigger than the other. I have just dismissed it until this morning i mentioed it to dh who said it was.
I have checked for lumps but to be honest i can feel lumps ans bumps all over the place and i don't know what is normal.
Have phoned the doctors but can't get an appointment until monday.
Feel worried that it's breast cancer now and can't stop thinking about it.

Have you got an NHS walk in centre near you? I don't know if they could help...it is probably normal, I think breasts change a lot throughout our lives, but obviously you need to put your mind at rest.

Agree with frannyf.
It is normal for one to be bigger than the other and it is also normal for busy people with little ones to look after to suddenly realise their bodies have changed in some way and for it to panic them. Could this possibly apply to you? I made dh go for a check-up about what I was convinced was a big new mole on his earlobe and we noticed some months later in some old photos that he had had it all his life...

You are right to get it checked out and I would be concerned in your shoes too, but I can't help feeling that if this were due to a lump there would be some unevenness in the bigger breast (puckering/lopsidedness).

I hope you get some reassurance soon, bunnyhop.

One breast is often bigger than the other. One leg is often longer than the other and so on. Have they always been the same size and now one had gotten bigger, or could it be that you have never taken much notice before.

i have never noticed it before nor has dh but i guess there is a chance it could have been like that before without noticing??
