Yes it is fine. It was rcommended by the doctor as you cant use lotions.

At least you wont have to suffer the toxic smell of nit lotion .

Just to say on the nit front. If you do it tonight and comb through, make sure you get every last live one out. Then do it again every other day, pulling out ALL the eggs you see (I find this is better in dry hair) Keep doing it for at least 10 das and you should be sorted, without lotions etc. Nits have approx 10 day life span, so this should sort it!
