Have found out via reviews on Trip Adviser that a hotel we are visiting is affected by a bug that everyone is coming down with. Not sure what I can do as too late to cancel but I am dreading going away. We booked through on the beach.com so not a holiday company as such, more agents. Has anyone been in this situation themselves and could advise me what to do?
You could try contacting their governing organisation - you know, whatever trade thing they are registered with and ask them to contact the hotel and advise it to close - sounds like the hotel ought to be closing anyway for a few days, but if they aren't, a nudge from someone like that might make them see sense.
not sure what the rules are about cancelling a booking. Good luck - I'd not be going, if it was me.
