Anyone been to latvia ?

Dh's Dad was Latvian and he has been there once. We are planning to do a summer trip with SIL and family and I thought that Latvia might be a nice destination as we could visit family and flights are not expensive.

However finding it a bit tricky to find accomodation. Ideally we would like to stay in 2 separate cottages on a complex one 2 bed and one 3/4 bedded or failing that a nice big place for all of us but would need lots of space. Can't find much on t'internet and I'm usually good at finding things, so wondered if anyone had any recommendations.
