just joining 21st century and getting wireless broadband and orange seems the cheapest for us (as i have an orange mobile contract) but just wanted to check that they are ok and i am not going to live to regret signing up for an 18 month contract with them! thanks

I've got it - it's fine, server has gone down once or twice but that's over quite a long period! They've always been quite helpful with any glitches my end and it was easy to set up. Can't commpare to anything else tho' as have always used them!! HTH a bit.

We have orange & haven't had any major problems recently - we had a period of a few months when we would lose the connection for several hours, but that seems to have passed.

Support is variable - I've had one nightmare call and several quick & helpful ones. Since we've had it we've connected 5 XP laptops, 3 Vista, 1 Mac & 2 iPhones without too much trouble, except for the first Vista laptop (that was the nightmare call, 45 minutes talking to someone who knew less about it than I did, going round in circles)

Hi, bit late on the uptake, but I've got standard Orange broadband and have just bought a separate Netgear router - hadn't realised you don't have to sign up to a particular wireless deal! Works like a dream (eventually!)
