virgin cable broadband and cold weather??

my internet connection keeps dipping out, could it be due to the cold weather?? Have noticed it keeps getting worse, the colder the weather. It has been terrible tonight

Any ideas?

Not sure about cable as it may be different, but the weather can affect ADSL. You might look at where cables go in case they are actually getting water drip onto joins though.

Mines been ok, but I do get probs with it at times. Have you tried the shut down and switch off at the wall socket for 2 minutes and restart it all?
