Suitable (and intelligent) Websites

First new topic for me..so here goes:
I just can not stand the Tweenies anymore, but unfortunately enough our 5 year old DD loves their website!
I could of course block it but then, knowing her, she would find a way around the filter.
What websites would you recommend for a 5 to 6 year old (English and German)?

Just not the Tweenies , please!

www.starfall.com - Phonics, Reading. It's American, but children seem to adapt easily to that. 4-year old I care for loves it.
