So my local computer shop has my laptop for repair since 1st July. They try really hard to find the replacement power socket. And fail. Even when I give them the details passed on by JackieNo. (thanks)......

So I take the laptop back off them on Monday this week. 5 mins, and two phone calls later I find what the problem is
