Does anyone know anything about Quicken?

I have a lovely newish laptop running Vista, and need to put all my accounts on it, which run on Quicken.

Unfortunately my Quicken software doesn't run on Vista and apparently they don't make Quicken for the UK market anymore (bastards) so I can't get one that does.

Anyone have any clue as to what I can do now? Either to get Quicken working in some way on my new computer or to change to a product that will accept the Quicken files??

Any help hugely appreciated..

I think Microsoft Money will import Quicken files - we moved that way, but long ago so not sure if it still holds for current versions.

Not sure about the newer versions, but we moved over to Microsoft Money 2006 Deluxe when Quicken stopped supporting the UK markert and this version has a convert quicken file option.

The programme itself, isn't all that different from Quicken and didn't take long to get used to and I had been using Quicken for over 6 years.

Hope that helps.

That really helps, thanks folks.

Now I need to find a UK version of Money that runs on Vista, there doesn't seem to be anything listed on Amazon..

Off to search..

There must be one, 'cos mine does. I think it was part of Office though, which may not help if you can't get it separately.

Ahhh I see..

From googling, I think its one of those things where the most recent UK edition of Money (2005) doesn't list Vista as an operating system but it still does run.

Apparently they're not releasing a new Money for the UK either - the US are on Money2008. What did we do???
