Why does it take so long fro me to open my emails in hotmail

Everything is so slow - I have to click to open and email - go away and do something and then come back to see if it has opened yet?

might be due to the problems MSN/Hotmail/Windows Live! have been having over the last 48 hours..

are you using the 'classic' or new 'fancy' view?.. I switched back to classic a few weeks ago as I got fed up with the long delays. everything seems sweet now...

I think the bells and whistles view is a bit on the heavy side and not that well written....

agree with OD - too much javascript going on.. ..switch to classic.

what browser? Seeing any error messages? (status bar at bottom of browser window (left for IE, right for Firefox))

I started a thread about this.
It's been shite.

Plus when I have hotmail open it seems to slow everything else down.
Very annoying.

Geekboy sorry for being dumb but where do I look for the error message? I use firefox, always found this was great as I did not get the popup nuisance boxes but have even started to get those lately.
