Outlook has lost its memory of my addresses - how do I get them back?

One of the things I love about Outlook is that when you enter the first letter of a recipient it remembers their e-mail address.

But my laptop suddenly appears to have cleared out all the addresses and I'm having to start again.

I haven't done anything untoward so don't know how this has happened.#

Is it a virus? (I have Norton Anti Spam which hasn't picked anything up)

How do I get them back, or is there nothing I can do?

I'm using Outlook 2003, so you may need to modify the instructions but ..

Tool -> Options
Choose Email Options and then Advanced Options
click 'Suggest names when completing the To, CC and BCC fields'

Hope that helps!

Well, the old 'turn it off and turn it back on again' has worked!

Thanks Nip and Tribpot.

Panic over - thankfully nothing seems to have been lost, just the laptop having a senior moment.
