yes I have, I had to pay £14.99 for the laptop to be delivered (paid when ordered) only got the basic one but it's plenty for me - ie internet & letters/ office etc.

the BB package I pay is £24.99 p/m and then additional BT line rental.

for me it's been an absolute nightmare to get it - but then again i've had several problems with the old internet/pak codes/H being an edgit about the whole internet when he left, so normally I think it would be fine. am tied to a 2 year contract.

they'd have to give me more than a free laptop to sign up with AOL!

No but DS2 is desperate for me to sign up. According to him there are NO strings at all, NOT ANY. They are just giving them away, apparently. Think you may be locked in to them for a couple of years?

thanks - we've just discovered you're tied into a 24 month contract with them!!!

Have decided that once line rental, BB costs and other associated BT costs are factored in each month we could actually just put the money away each month and buy a laptop (no strings attached) in about 6 months time!
