OK all you Club Penguin experts....

When you get to the bit where it says 'choose a server' what is that??? My DD has the limited registration where she cannot chat (as only 7) so which am I supposed to click on the one with the speech bubble or without?

Does it matter which one you click on? Yesterday several were full?

It also took us about 20 goes to find a free name.

You can click on whichever you want (of the ones which aren't full) but if you want to meet someone (a friend with a penguin) you have to remember to plan to be on the same server.

You can go on any of them - the ones with the speech bubble are limited chat only but if your DD goes on the others, she'll still be able to use limited chat only, but others won't.

TBH, I just let DSs free rein (6 and 8) as I don't think they can get into much trouble - we've had The Chat about not giving out personal information.

Thank you for the advice, I think I will give her more access when she is a little more used to it. Although she says she has tried to start to chat to others and they just walk off, did get invited to a snowball fight today so she way happy!

She has enough coins to buy a puffle, but is not a full member so we are going on later to see if it is poss without the monthly fee.

You can buy certain coloured puffles without paying the fee Or so I'm told!

Ds1 and DS2 are on limited chat and have managed to make lots of freinds. It does get really busy and sometimes all the servers are full. DS2 worked out that he could just go to the US servers and get in. They are quiet due to time diff but they are only interested in playing games anyway and making money to buy fluff balls. (Or whatever they are.)

DS1 makes plans to meet friends from schools penguins but it hasn't happened yet.

DS1 has begged me to pay the subscription so he can "buy" stuff. My reply? "Hah."
