I use Mumsnet a lot and the difficuty is driving me mad .

I constantly get "Mumsnet isn't working /sent no data " /error = empty message .

Sometimes loads in strange format - HUGE logo and the just text .

I've recently got new laptop ,as said Windows 10 and Bullguard installed .

Can I fix this ?

I had to google Bullguard! I wouldn't bother with it. Windows Defender and Malwarebytes (free) is sufficient alongside prudent browsing and email habits. Install ublock origin as an extension to whichever browser you are using.

I would be inclined to reinstall Windows 10.

Is mumsnet the only website that you are having problems with, or are there others?

would this help with my problems with MN awfulsomething ? Or is the action related to not bothering with Bullguard and using Windows Defender and Malwayrebites ?

Tyler - yes it's only MN .Could it be all the advertising banners .that load with it ?????

Actually it seems a bit less inclined to come up with error messages now .But is slow .

Which browser are you using? Microsoft Edge?

Apparently I'm using Chrome 54 -I just googled and that's what it said .
Is that a bad choice of browser ?

Upgrade Chrome to 55 via settings - so far a better version. Chrome is a perfectly acceptable browser.

My suggestions were to help you browse safely without wasting money! Windows Defender is built in, Malwarebytes has a free option (although this Bullgard could be causing your problems, years in IT and a lot of time on IT forums and I had never heard of it...) If you google ublock origin it is a highly recommended extension to aid in safe browsing. You'll also learn a bit how various exploits occur.

I also like Chrome a lot. To narrow down the issue though, could you try accessing mumsnet through the built in Microsoft Edge and see if the problem remains?
