Been with Talktalk they couldn't provide a steady connection. Plusnet can't complete the job ( 4 months and counting).
BT v expensive.

Personally I have found Plusnet to be good. John Lewis Broadband is provided by plusnet. Plusnet is a BT company.

I suspect the issue is not to do with the end provider but is to do with Openreach who physically provide the line. Are they struggling to provide a stable service due to poor line quality, line length, flooded connection box, things like that? In some areas lines are not great quality and you can be a long way from the exchange. Are you looking at ADSL or Fibre? If a fibre box is near your home that can make a big difference, as most of the connection is by fibre not copper.

Good luck getting a stable connection. Keep pestering Plusnet so they keep pestering Openreach.

Plusnet aren't keeping me updated so have to phone regularly. Finally got someone to explain the problem with the connection but still no reason why it's taken from June.
There are 3 BT boxes within a block of my house, not sure which is ours but apparently had a fault hence it taking so long. Fault identified mid October....

Each phone call to plusnet is taking an hour due to being on hold etc, took three calls in one day last week to get someone who could find out for me.
