Video ad blockers

Can anyone tell me how to block/stop video ads and other sites auto streaming video content?

At the moment I'm using Microsoft Edge but happy to change browser

Might be worth having a look at Ghostery - I'm not sure if they block auto-streaming, but it works nicely for preventing pop-ups.
