Need help on how to get a you tube vid on here

Im using an android tablet and am at a loss on how to transfer a you tube vid onto Mn. Can one of you lovely people tell me how to do it. Sorry I'm a dimwit !

Copy the url at top of page the video is on and paste it here? Works for me on iPhone.

Yes you don't transfer the video, you just want to put the web address of the video into a post, presumably.

In the Android YouTube app, click on the 'Share' button, it's the right-pointing arrow. In the list of 'share' options will be 'Copy Link', looks like one rectangle in front of another rectangle. Now go into your MN post and long press in the box where you type the post and select 'Paste'.

Thanks tribot yes I want to transfer a song with the lyrics written as they'll be very helpful to a poster who is in a bit of a crisis.

Are you wanting to copy and paste the lyrics from here: www.azlyrics.com/lyrics/passenger/holes.html and then also post a link to a YouTube copy of the video, or just a link to a copy of the YouTube video that has the lyrics in, like this one:

Yes a copy of the video with the lyrics but to be a bit more awkward I need to send it in a PM as the poster is in contact with me privately and is distressed. I have suggested the relevant MH and money crisis agencies. It's just I feel the lyrics are very good and may help.

No, it's the same. You just need the web address and you put it in the PM. If you long press on the web address in my post above, you should get a menu that looks like this, you want copy link address.
