Bloody Apple! Changing ID

My email add is no longer supported by my erstwhile provider, so I've changed it. This necessitated anging my Apple ID, which I did. Mostly it's fine, but for in app purchases it doesn't. They don't like my new password. Today I'd had enough, so started to change the password, which necessitated verification by various means.

It wanted my card details - fine, got my card out and entered everything. Apparently the security code is wrong. This, despite my holding the card in front of me and being more than capable of copying 3 digits accurately. Apparently this code, this code on the back of my card is wrong!

So I 'continued without card', which meant that they will reset my Apple ID but it will take TWO DAYS!!!!!

Bastards.

All I wanted to do was buy a very cheap pack of crap for a game my friend's toddler was playing. Just as a treat, y'know (and to keep her occupied while her mum and I had some serious discussion).

Bastards. And to think I was considering buying a iPhone....

Have you tried phoning the helpline? I did the other day in relation to a similar issue, and they sorted it out there and then.

Thanks Judy. I will probably do that tomorrow. I think I needed a small rant!
