BMW X5

Hi everyone, I'm a totally new member tonight so please go easy on me.

I was just simply wanting any advise on a new car my husband is wanting to get. Basically, we need a bigger car, with a bigger boot to commute from two locations. He is thinking v seriously of a BMW X5 m sport. Although to my eyes this appears a very pleasant car but I'm somewhat concerned about parking/manoeuvring. I'm really, really hoping some lovely member(s) can give me some honest feedback.

I had one a few years ago, so very definitely not the latest model. It was really heavy to drive. Parking wasn't too much of an issue as it had rear sensors but it was just such hard work steering it. I wasn't sorry to see it go. HTH

Aww I'm sorry to hear that it didn't work for you. Do you think the heavy steering was just your particular model ? It's the automatic steering (weirdly) I'm worried about lol
