Help! I got one of these memory sticks for my bf as I thought it would be a nice idea for valentines day to make him a 'mix tape' www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B000ZZI9HQ/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?qid=1454150067&sr=8-1&pi=AC_SX118_SY170&keywords=mixtape+memory+stick

But now my laptop is bust sad I have itunes on my iPad, is there a way to move music onto a usb stick from the iPad? Or will I have to beg/borrow someone else's laptop?

And once the music is on there, I'm assuming he can upload the songs straight to his own itunes account, right?

God, I miss the days of actual real mix tapes... This is too complicated!

The iPad should have a lightning port, you will need a lightning to USB cable from Amazon - about £5

Actually I don't think that will work- what I want to do is transfer music from the iPad directly onto the usb memory stick. Is there a cable/adapter for that?

You'll have to go via a computer and the iTunes folder.

Hi,

I'm afraid what you can't do what you're trying to do... Officially.

You can only transfer music from iTunes to an iPad and not the other way around.

Do you have a PC or Mac? There is software available to help you but officially, it can't be done.

Thank you! I think I'm just gonna give up and send him a playlist on Spotify... And they say romance is dead
