Help please - Facebook hacked and can't "re-set"

Can anyone help me get round this? My facebook account (which fortunately I don't use, and have no other accounts linked to) has been hacked. I know this because I have had some emails from Facebook in Cyrillic which when Google translated basically say that my account details have been changed, and showing another email address.
If I try to log in to Facebook, it says my (genuine) email address has recently been removed.
If I go to the re-set password page then the email that the password link will be sent to is the hackers and not mine. My phone number has also been removed from the account.
I've tried clicking on the "my account has been compromised" button but it just takes me back to the log-in page.
Is there any way to actually sort this out? I can't find anything on Facebook "help" apart from the above which doesn't work.
If you're still with me - thank you! - and any suggestions gratefully received.

Can you log in using your username?

Did you click the link in the first email?

Facebook shouldn't be emailing you in another language, even if the profile language is changed, they'd email you in the language you set the account up.

I've only ever logged in using the email address.
No didn't click on any links in the emails although I'm sure they were genuine as it showed the hackers email as being added to the account.

You can find out your username easily enough by just going to facebook.com in a browser and searching for yourself - it will be in the URL that appears in the search bar at the top of your browser.

Does Facebook know your mobile number? You can also try that.

I see what you mean about being directed to a page that then requires you to log in - obviously the thing you can't do if the account has been hijacked. I think possibly the only other option is to have your friends report your account.

Incidentally, I realise this is no help to you but I have just set up Login Approvals in FB security so that if someone tries to log in from an unknown browser my phone will be send a security code.
