BLOODY MICROSOFT!!

I have recently had to update to office 2013 as my old laptop died.
Transferred all my contacts, but contact groups had gone.

Now I find that apparently if I am using hotmail, I cannot create contact groups (distribution lists)
ARGHHHH!
Why do they do this? I used to have these contact groups in 2010 with hotmail. It's SOOOOOO annoying.

I really need to use contact groups. Does anyone have a solution? I can't change away from hotmail for at least 6 months for work reasons.
