I'm wondering if someone can tell me please how difficult is it to disassemble a PC?

I was looking for a high spec PC so a friend agreed to build me one. I bought the components off Amazon and it was built, but it keeps crashing (blue death screen). I now want to return it but said friend is away so can't disassemble it for me, would I be able to do it?

It's not hard, but have you checked the returns policy allows it? If there's no fault with the components themselves I don't think they'll accept the return. It'll be pretty obvious that most stuff has been opened and used even if you still have the packaging.

Might not be anything wrong with any of the components but sometimes certain items even though they appear compatible aren't and it could be one component being in there that is causing the issue, replacing it with another similar spec from a different manufacturer will probably fix it

Problem will be working out what it is

When you get the blue screen of death what is the error message it ones up with ? Make a note of it and google it, may be a simple fix

When I got this computer last year it kept crashing and wiping Windows. After the third time I went out and bought a Linux magazine which had a complete operating system on a cover mounted disc, so no download necessary. It hasn't crashed since, and it's been running since November.
