Photo stream on iPhone and laptop?

Somehow I seem to have set my laptop to sync with my iPhone so all my photos are automatically uploaded.
I have deleted a lot of photos from my photo stream on my phone, but they are still on my laptop.

Shouldn't they be deleted from my laptop aswell? Or do I have to do it the old fashioned way?
