Has anybody updated ?
If so , what do you think of it?
I hate IOS 7.
Updated to that by mistake.

DH did it yesterday and his battery is draining ridiculously, advice online is to let it run down and recharge cycle a few times to recalibrate the battery data.

I'm going to wait and see if this helps before I update

Also when somebody calls now you no longer get a big picture of them, just a tiny one in a bubble

I updated my iPhone yesterday and iPad today- there's not really a great deal of noticeable difference between 7.06 and 7.1 on the iPad - the letters on the keyboard are darker, as are some icons, there are more options to change transparency of folders, and other similar tweaks, but I haven't found much else different yet.

On the phone, the keypad has changed with smaller round call and answer buttons, Siri has new voices and there's a link on the lock screen to make an emergency call without entering the passcode, which I don't remember before.

Haven't really noticed anything else yet.

My phone got very warm and went from 100% to 87% in a couple of minutes straight after the update but I did a reset (hold down home & sleep buttons till the apple appears) and since then the battery drain seems to be actually better than before. I haven't seen any difference in battery life on the iPad yet but it's only a few hours since I did it.

Actually, just looked at DH's phone which he hadn't updated and the emergency thing was there -I just hadn't noticed it before. Blush

I don't like the way when I close an app, the home screen appears blank and a second later the apps come up.

I keep hoping for a shut down all apps option as well but none yet.

But I haven't noticed much difference in the updates to warrant not installing them.

If you use the 'Reduce motion' option, the apps 'reappear' on the home screen instead of zooming back - but there's still a short time-lag.

Ah, I turned the 'Reduce Motion' off as I read it would increase battery life.

Oh well, it was only a little annoyance anyway.
