Hi, I am just coming to the end of an O2 contract and use my iphone for everything, and could use it for even more if it was a tablet (for work stuff), and like the idea of not having a phone and a tablet, but just the latter. Is this doable? would I need a data package only and then use apps for voice? would these still have my number? If you know more, which tablet would be best for this? I also need it to be pluggable to computers and projectors at different places, so connectivity is important.
Thank you!
p.s. I don't feel particularly attached to the apple brand, so androids considered too!

Do you mean using apps like Skype, Facetime for voice/video chat?

Can tablets with a sim card also be used as a phone... I don't know, maybe they can.

Sounds like you need an Asus Padphone, tablet and phone in one neat package. Might be about 25 quid over your budget but close enough?
