Humax FOXSAT, can you help?

The programmes are set to record but when I try it says 'recording failed' & theres a grey logo with flash (like a battery).
I've got the manual which suggests not to record overlapping programmes, which we don't.
Any ideas?

No, only 18% full. DS thinks it happened after the storm, but then surely we wouldn't receive programmes then?
I am so thick about anything technical..
