Hello - v grateful to anyone who can help.
DD got a new 4th gen iPod Touch for her b-day. I wanted her to be able to listen to the songs that I'd bought via iTunes for her before we got the iPod, so when we took it out of the box I plugged it into my MacBook and registered it as an iPod belonging to me. Can't remember the exact option I chose but I think it was 'back up from woeface's iPhone'.
Anyway all was good - she's got the music I've previously purchased on her behalf through her iPod Touch headphones, I didn't have to listen to quite so much TingTings.
BUT I've just discovered I can't text her or FaceTime her from my iPhone - presumably because iTunes sees that as FaceTiming/texting myself and thinks that's ... I dunno, psychopathic?
Has anyone been through this and come out the other side? Is there any way for dd to have access to the music, but also to be able to text and FT me and vice versa?
TIA
