Anyway / app to play ipad videos on a loop?

I need to make a 4 hour car journey with 22 month of DD in a few weeks. Normally I'm with DH. DD sleeps for half the journey then happily watches some downloaded CBeebies for the remaining time. Whoever is the passenger can turn round and press play on the next thing.

I will be on my own this time so I need to somehow create a playlist or shuffle the videos as i can't load the next one if i'm driving. Is there anyway to do this or an app that can help?

I found an app in the store but it had terrible reviews as it continually crashes.

Has anyone found a workaround?

Thank you n

FileApp will loop through videos in a folder. You can use the associated DiskAid software for PC to transfer files to iPad.

Your issue I suspect will be getting the content into MP4 Video format.
You can get software to convert some DVDs to MP4. You could try obtaining Get_Iplayer but it's not been developed for quite some time now.

Thank you nannynick. I'd have never discovered that on my own.

The videos I have are all fairly recent downloads from iTunes. I don't know if this will work or not? I will download the app tonight and give it a go.

Thank you again.

Have you had any luck getting things to work?

One thing I read online but have not tested, is that the desktop version of iTunes will export video as mp4 (think you need to get to an advanced menu option when highlighting the video).
Then in iPhoto you can create a photo folder and enable that for video files. Put the video files in the photo folder and then set the slideshow option to loop... so it goes through each item in the folder and then repeats.

Something else to try.

I'm not having much luck as my videos were downloaded straight onto my iPad so don't appear on the full version on my laptop. I am going to try and connect iPad to laptop and see if I can transfer them.

FileApp sadly didn't work. It would have worked if I wanted to play videos from my photo stream so I suspect it's a formatting issue.

That said I've downloaded an entire series of Mr Tumble and it plays back to back. It's over 2 hours worth so I think that will be enough by the time she's had a sleep and a snack. just a shame it's 2 hours of Tumble

Thanks again.
