Number ported over, why does my phone still show new number?

I switched networks (O2 to Three) and had my old O2 number ported over successfully. However, on my phone status, it still shows the new Three SIM card's original number. This number has ceased to exist now that my old number has been ported over.

So why doesn't my old number show up on my phone status? It's a little annoying even though this doesn't affect my phone's performance in any way. It doesn't even affect the calls and texts I make from the phone since my old number shows up on every text or call I make from my phone with the new Three SIM installed inside.

Does anyone know if there is anything I can do to make my phone show my old ported over number? I have a Google Nexus 4 btw.
