Tablets - easy to use?

Dh just bought one (kola kube) and i need to get up to speed trying to use it - immediate use is for long journey in a couple of days and dc will use it to entertain themselves.

so, I've figured out that it uses a micro sd card. I think that I will try to get movies on to the sd as reviews seem to suggest that loading more than a couple of movies on to the tablet's drive slows things down.

has anyone had this problem?
