Anyone good on a mac?

I am trying to open airport utility, and it flashes but doesn't appear on screen, the get info panel says it has opened, but if it has I don't know where! I suspect dh has done something security wise, but I am logged in as admin. ( not root admin).

Have tried google for locked/ hidden app, but no luck!

Had anyone any ideas?
