ive got a windows 8 tablet but its not a surface (samsung smart pc) and i am really liking it i have to say, now i am used to it - the windows touchscreen takes awhike to get used to but works well and office 365/2013 works really well with it with the touchscreen optimisation settings. The surface isnt as powerful i think and is a definite tablet like an ipad/nexus rather than a hybrid like mine. they seem great as tablets, ive had a play with a couple. i have heard peope saying hold out for the surface pro if you want more of a laptop

My DH has a leapster.... According to DD. It is actually a surface tablet smile

Windows RT or Surface Pro?

I feel this is the tablet for me but I dont know anyone with one and am unwilling to shell out £400 without knowing the beast. Does anyone have one and what do you think of it?
