You can get plenty of useable devices for under thirty quid

That won't replay & she needs something to replay

I guess I have to buy her a new phone

How about this? 8GB USB stick & Dictaphone

I've not used it personally but at £11 it seems like a small gamble and afterwards you can use it also as a normal USB stick.

"an old nano"

Sony sounds good

Argos do a Sony dictation machine for 35 pounds, it has 526 hours of recording time and will plug into the PC for editing

What kind of iPod does she have?

KatyMac Wed 06-Feb-13 20:50:30

DD needs a "bring a recording device for the week, either in the form of a Dictaphone or the recording equipment available on many mobile phones"

So what's that then, how much will it set me back & what's the cheapest I can buy? blush

I thought her iPod would be fine - but it isn't.....& her phone doesn't (apparently)

Please take pity on techno-dork mum
