So reading MN, BBC News, watching Youtube, reading your emails etc.
What they are RUBBISH for is creating information.
So unless you like punishing yourself, forget the idea of writing long replies to posters on MN, or typing your friend a long email.
Games are very basic. Short bursts of fun. Nothing like a console.
The biggest advantage of tablets are the fact they are pretty much instant on. You press the on button and it's ready to rock. Unlike a PC which needs to count it's own memory, check it's still got a drive, load up...load up antivirus etc etc
Same as what I used my Netbook for before it. Internet browsing mostly.
Got a few games on it too, but right now I've got the snooker on so I can keep an eye on it whilst watching the Gadget Show recorded on my telly and post on MN on my phone (think I might be a media junkie!).
