some keys not working on laptop...anyone help?

I left my laptop in the car overnight and when i tried to use it the next day some of the keys wouldn't work. I though it was maybe cold and would work once it hax warmed up. That was 2 months ago and still I have no spacebar, full stop or letters along bottom line. I have taken the keys off and everything looks normal underneath.
Laptop is around 18mnths old. Does anyone know if this sounds like a fixable problem?

Anyone? Just wondering if it sounds like something that could be easy to fix? Or sounds terminal?

Is it possible the laptop was dropped?

You can buy a new keyboard for 40 euro and it is easy to fit, my husband fitted mine for me.
