I'm looking for an app where I can add items onto a list on my iPad and they will appear as if by magic on my iPhone. Is this possible?

Thanks Smile

And does anyone know of an app for telling my milkman how many eggs I want? :o

Sorry House but I couldn't resist it. I have a shopping list pad stuck onto the magnetic whiteboard in the kitchen.

So do I. But sadly, I never remember to take it with me! Whereas my phone never leaves my side...

Had a light bulb moment while reading a gadget article in the Sundays.

I don't know if it depends on having the latest models or whether you just need the software but you can store the list in the Cloud. It can then be accessed by your iPad or iPhone.

Evernote.

It's just a note app, but it syncs, which is what you are looking for.

We use Remember The Milk but I think for both of us to use we have to pay the subscription which is about $25 a year I think.

I make the list on my iPad and it replicates on my iPhone. DP adds stuff via text message and on his iPhone too.

Another vote for Evernote. Brilliant app, that. It'll sync between all your mobile devices and your computer as well. If you're a firefox user, you can get a browser addon that'll let you clip things you see online straight to Evernote - so, for example, if I see something on Amazon and think 'ooh, my dad might like that', I clip to Evernote, add it to the note labelled 'stuff my dad might want for his birthday', and it syncs to my phone so I don't forget what it was by the time I'm in town to buy it. It's like magic.

I bought (!) ineedstuff for the ipod, a few years ago. It is excellent and has bursts when it will sync with a web page and between ipods. I still use ineedstuff and it's almost perfect but the support has just disappeared - ages ago.
Has anyone else come across it?
