My Partner and I are set this month to start our quest to become parents via Home AI..... Just wondered if there is any others out there trying to become pregnant too?

No, but I have a fantastic 6 year old conceived in this way. Best thing I did (except possibly the adoption of our second). Best of luck
not starting out, all done! but like hester we have 2 dds (almost 3, and 2 weeks old) conceived via home AI (well, in a series of chain hotels, actually
). Best of luck - it's a bit of a roller coaster if it takes a while, but totally worth it!

Hi Queen, Unfortunately we are still trying to get me pregnant. We're now on our first cycle of IVF. Best of luck with the Home AI - I've got friends who conceived this way on their second (I think) try.
hester born on dec 4th, 7lbs 8. Snoring on my lap

Both of them are gorgeous! (Love it that your dd1 is wearing the same dress as my dd2 today.) Also love your 'she has children she is ancient' line. You can't be more ancient than me: no-one is [strokes grey beard in sagelike fashion].
lizzie hope that IVF works out for you - and sorry for thread hijack - just these threads are so slow that it's easy to miss people

Thanks rhetorician - I hope so too. It's frustrating having to go through all this when I haven't got any fertility issues, but hopefully it will all be worth it in the end. Congratulations on your beautiful family (I had a nosey too!).
if you don't have fertility issues then the chances are it will work out - and thanks. managing the two of them is another matter entirely...
