Evergreen climbers

Can anyone recommend a fast growing climber that grows in full shade.
I really need to cover several mismatched fences on the boundry of my garden.
I planted ivys 2 years back and they have only grown about 70cm.
Last year in desperation I planted a Russian Vine but this appeared to die. I know they do lose their leaves in winter but it appeared to be dying before winter.
I know nothing about gardening so really need advice as to what to plant as can not afford to buy a new fence.

Cleamtis armandii, Pileostegia (is quite slow), Hydrangea seemannii (also slow), evergreen honeysuckle.
Clematis armandii and honeysuckle as the fastest, but most evergreen climbers are slower than deciduous.
Ivy is a good option but needs to be kept moist in the first year or two after planting (as do any of the above).
Do make sure you plant a big hole and improve your soil before planting and water any new planting once a week over summer.

I am on a campaign to promote honeysuckle - more people should grow it - so I'll echo what Pannacotta has said about honeysuckle! I have Belgica in a very dark corner and it's doing well.
