Adopt a Beehive

Did you know that one in three mouthfuls of the food we eat is dependent on pollination at a time when the world's honey bees are struggling to survive? There is a lot of talk about the effects of pesticides and climate change on them and the British Beekeepers Association (BBKA)are raising money to fund research into honey bee health, and education programmes for beekeepers

You don't have to keep bees to help, you can adopt a beehive and receive gifts and information about your bees without having the trouble of looking after them. If you would like to help check out www.adoptabeehive.co.uk

Thanks for all your help...

Got a leaflet about this in the BBKA Newsletter - am sure it would make a great gift for a non-beekeeping beekeeper! But seems a bit expensive for what you get. I know that's missing the point slightly.
