Apparently sticking a few kids' plastic windmills is supposed to work. They don't like the vibrations it creates in the ground.

But there is already a plastic dora windmill in the herb patch. Maybe it wasn't very windy last night.

try looking under pest control in yellow pages or asking around- do you live in rural area or in town?

Rural france. Will look in our yellow pages for some sort of pest control. Someone I met today suggested I put water down the tunnel and they will come running out. Then I could chase out of garden as opposed to bashing it on the head like they did. But didn't work as mole did not appear and only dug out displaced soil half an hour later.

Farfaraway - have you sorted your mole problem?

Cos I've just realised we've got the same thing.

Do you have to pay to get the mole man in???
