Gardening

So would this be down to a fox or something else {shudder} ?

dh out tidying the garden of leaves and giving grass a cut. Found amongst the debris, a small football burst and chewed (part missing), one of ds's socks I must have dropped from the line , partly chewed up , and a length of washing line bitten in two. I have seen a fox around before, do they typically do such things ?

It might be especially if there were cubs around but I think very unusual, so you have badgers in your area?

No idea about badgers . Part of our garden is uncultivated and "wild" so know neighbours have seen foxes in there and I have in our cultivated gardne..

Could be. DH and DD have reminded me we found a leather gardening glove chewed up and a tennis ball.

Yes, foxes definitely do this sort of thing. I once left a pair of dd's shoes outside the front door and they went missing.

A couple of weeks later I found one of them with the strap chewed off it. Several weeks later I found the other one which was in an even worse state.

I often see ripped bags, mangled teddies etc round here (and I live in London btw!)
