Gardening

someone stole my onions

came back from holiday and went to inspect the allotment- out of 5 rows of onions- only the ones hidden behind the weeds were left- apparently I am the 5th or 6th victim to the onion thief- am I unreasonable to demand capital punishment?

How bizarre. You'll have to start inspecting strangers for onion breath! Or call the local paper.

Oh my , that is despicable. How cruel.
Capital Punishment too good for them. They should be forced to eat raw onions in perpetua, on a little stage in the center of town so people could mock and jeer at them.

I'm agast. When I read the title I assumed they were laid out drying in front of the house or something (as mine are at the moment); but to pull them out of the ground... that's very out of order. Very strange that it's just onions that are going though.

and they were beautiful- in an oniony way.
Why do people have to be so mean- the other allotmenteers suspect a restaurant as they seem to have stolen so many. they started with autumn planted ones that matured in june and now are on the summer harvest. And this is after a sodden rotten garlic harvest and blight on the tomatoes- I feel like giving up
